Hi, I’m Jess Parker and thanks for checking out the website. Our ministry name, Tearing Down Strongholds is taken from 2 Corinthians 10:3-5
“We are human but we don’t wage war with human plans and methods, we fight with God’s mighty weapons, not mere worldly weapons, to tear down the devil’s strongholds... We demolish arguments and every pretension that keeps people from knowing God. We take captive every thought and make them give up and obey Christ.”
TDS Ministries and Tearing Down Strongholds School of Deliverance are based out of the Church of Glad Tidings in Yuba City, CA. Both were birthed out of an incredible experience God arranged for us in July, 1997 without our prior knowledge or approval.
We were plunged into a confrontation with Anton Lavey, a well known Satanist who founded the First Church of Satan in San Francisco on April 30, 1966. He also played the role of Satan in an occult movie; “Rosemary’s Baby” released in 1968 and authored the “Satanist Bible” published in 1969.
